You can get general back pain from a lot of different things and from a lot of different ways, to best treat it and to get a better understanding of the back pain that you are suffering from and to get a proper analysis of it, it is best that you go to the doctor to get it checked out and to find out how you can treat it.

Which position is the worst for back pain?

Back pain whilst sleeping is causes cause of the lack of support whilst sleeping., the sleeping position that causes back pain the most is sleeping on is sleeping on your stomach. When you sleep on your stomach this position puts a lot of pressure on your spine’s muscles and joints as it flattens your natural spinal curve. Not to mention that when you sleep on your stomach you force your neck to be turned for the rest of the night therefore, also causing you to have neck pains alongside your back pain.

A way you could prevent getting back pains is by sleeping on your back with a pillow underneath your knees to help maintain your natural spinal curve of your lower back, thus preventing back pains from poor and unsupportive sleeping positions. If you want additional support then you can try rolling up a small towel and place that under the small of your back. A supportive pillow will also give your neck extra support to stop you from getting neck pains, and lastly an investment towards a support and comfortable mattress such as a memory foam mattress will also make a great deal of a difference when it comes to preventing back pain as it provides the right amount of support and comfort that you are looking for when it comes to no longer suffering from back pains.
