How to modernise your living room

Hello and welcome back to our blogs all about how to make your home that much more interesting, elegant and trendy. Today we’ve decided to focus on an issue which impacts one of most household’s most frequented rooms; yep, you've guessed it, it’s the one-and-only living room. We all trek through it. We all chill in it. But how many of us truly see it for what it is: the face of our entire house. Nobody visits without getting seated in the living room. The whole family gathers together in the evening in (you guessed it) the living room. So why are we underestimating it so much? Therefore, at Furnitureful we’ve decided that today’s the day where this room gets the much needed attention it deserves. We’ll cover why it’s so important as well as what accent pieces you can use in it to truly make it the room of your dreams. So, what are you waiting for? Let’s get into it!

What is a living room?

The living room, also often referred to as the setting room, is a room which is primarily used for social functions such as the family gathering there in the evening.

Why is the living room such an important room?

THere are two reasons why it's so important to decorate it right. The first is that it's the place for friends and family alike together. That reason alone should be enough for you to try your best to make it cosy. The second is that it’s the place where most of us spend our time. At least make it a pleasant space to stay in.

Accent pieces to define your living room

  1. Amazon is full of great finds and this rustic bamboo vase is no different. Handmade, this is sure to add an air of cosiness to any room.
  2. Another hot piece on Amazon are these stunning Runmeihe wall stickers. There’s nothing like them that screams class.
