The biggest interior design fails you’ll want to avoid

We’ve all been there. We’ve all done that. Having to redecorate the house might happen more often than you think it should but the reality remains that often many of us are roped into having to decorate - even if we don't have the first clue about what defines good interior design. Therefore, we’ve come up with this blog to strongly highlight what you should Never do. You can’t be prepared if you haven’t been warned. So, see this blog as an opportunity to save your house from interior design failure so that you are left with a property that is as beautiful as you could want it. So, without further ado, let’s get into it!

Interior design fail 1: Trying to jazz up the fireplace

This can quite quickly become a nightmare. So you have a nice antique looking fireplace. And you decide to get rid of it in favour of something modern. Or worse, people have even taken it upon themselves to redesign it in a variety of different shades of brown. Yep. Who said creativity was dead

Interior design fail 2: Having carpet in the bathroom

Why, oh why, oh why? If you want to see horror this is the bathroom design you should create. Putting carpet in the bathroom is one of the worst things you can do because bathrooms typically become pretty hot and humid at times. Mildew, anyone?

Interior design fail 3: All white

Now, this can sometimes look pretty classy. But what is this: a prison? Come on, all homes need a splash of colour and yours is no exception. Adding a splash of colour here and there will help with your mental health no end.
