When most of us think of tiles our first thought is usually of some old ugly brown pieces of earth that are best for ensuring your home is sturdy on the outside, not beautiful on the inside. And yet as modern interior designs trends have become easily accessible (and more and more stunning) people are coming to appreciate the versatility of tiles as something new and exciting (and something other than only being in the colour brown). Therefore, in today’s blog we’re going to cover all about tiles. The colours out there, what’s even so great about them as well as how they can be used in different ways to different effects based on the room you’re in. So, without further ado, let’s get into it!

What are tiles all about?

Tiles are something that are a part of most homes. Their function can be practical or for aesthetic purposes. One of the main ways tiles are used is as a type of flooring.

What is the best material to use for tiles?

Now, there are many different materials out there. From porcelain tiles to glass tiles, you’re sure to be spoiled for choice. But what tile material is best? Well, we’ve done some research and found out that glazed ceramic tiles are one of the best offerings out there. They offer great protection against stains and damage compared to other materials that can be used like vinyl plank flooring or carpets.

Out of all the tiles out there, which type is best for the bedroom?

Now, the bedroom is a really intimate room and therefore we’d recommend a cosy look with tiles made of wooden ceramic. These will give off a natural and comfortable vibe which will make the bedroom your favourite place.
