A memory foam mattress is a mattress that combines memory foam with either support foam or springs.
Pressure and pain relief- The most beneficial factors of a memory foam mattress are the pressure and pain relief the mattress provides, particularly on areas such as the shoulders and hips. Memory foam is designed to mould to your body shape and contours whilst you sleep. This is ideal as a memory foam mattress will move with you throughout the night which will help with aches or pains you might be suffering from and result in a better night's sleep.
Spine alignment- Memory foam is designed to mould and adapt to your style of sleeping as well as provide a great deal of support. Memory foam will work to keep your spine and neck aligned whilst you sleep.
Low motion transfer- Memory foam is perfect for sharing a bed with someone else as it has low motion transfer.
Hypoallergenic- Memory foam is a hypoallergenic material so a memory foam mattress will be an ideal option for anyone who suffers from allergies. As memory foam has a dense structure it is less likely for any allergens to gather on the mattress.
High durability- Memory foam mattresses are stronger and will last longer than the standard innerspring mattresses. A memory foam mattress can last an incredibly long time, but the length of time also depends on how you sleep and how you care for your mattress.
Easy to care for- Memory foam mattresses are easy to care for, but this doesn’t mean there should be no mattress care at all. It's important you change your bedding frequently; you should change your bedding once a week or once every 2 weeks. You should also rotate your mattress every three to six months. A vacuum cleaner is also a good way to clean your memory foam mattress.
