Do bed bugs look like chickenpox?

Well, the answer is no, bed bugs bites look and feel completely different to each other. If bedbugs bite you you won’t see much effect on your skin.

However, with chickenpox, you will get notable marks that can stay on your skin for at least 6-12 months.

Differences between bedbugs and chickenpox

Chickenpox marks stay on the skin for at least 6-12 months depending on how quickly your skin heals. Bedbug marks stay on the skin for 15 minutes to a day maximum but it depends on the severity of the bed bug bites.

There is a certain pattern in which bed bugs bite in and they are bed bugs bite in groups but chickenpox marks are found on the entire body.

The remedies for bedbugs are to use anti-itch creams and for chickenpox, the remedies are to use calamine lotion.

The severity of bedbugs is that you don’t need to see a doctor as they are not very severe. However, with chickenpox you may need to see the doctor as chickenpox can spread quickly and can be quite difficult to get rid of yourself.
