Adjustable beds can be raised or lowered to allow the sleeper to sleep in different positions. They offer a lot of positions: sitting, lying down, feet elevation, head elevation, and middle section elevation, to adjust to the needs of the sleeper. Some of these needs include:

  • Accommodating for different sleeping positions/preferences
  • Pain relief on certain areas of the body, such as back, knees and neck

Hybrid mattresses can sometimes be used on adjustable beds. But this doesn’t mean that all hybrid mattresses will be compatible with adjustable beds or that the hybrid mattress you have will necessarily work.

But, if your hybrid mattress is compatible, then it comes down to its flexible foam layers allowing the mattress to bend and adjust with the adjustable base. You don’t have to worry about the coils breaking or snapping either, as they are also flexible and adaptable too. but again, this is if the mattress is specifically designed in a way that is okay to use on adjustable beds.

Hybrid mattresses are sometimes suitable to use on adjustable beds as they can be flexible – and usually if they’re high quality, but what about other mattresses?

Memory foam mattresses are compatible with adjustable beds.

Latex mattress are compatible with adjustable beds.
