It’s very rare however bed bugs can be life threatening for some people as everyone has a different reaction to it so it’s best to get it dealt with. 

What are the health effects of bed bug bites? 

In most people, bed bug bites don’t cause any serious health problems and the bite marks disappear within a few weeks. In other people, bite marks can be very painful and more itchy. 

In rare cases, bed bug bites can cause serious reactions. This might include: 

  • Difficulty breathing 
  • Swollen tongue 
  • Blisters 
  • Having a Fever 
  • Irregular heartbeat 
  • Feeling sick 

What does a bed bugs bite feel like?

Just as you probably don’t feel a spider bite while you’re sleeping, you probably won’t feel a bed bug bite either. Bed bugs have another defence system that prevents you from feeling that you’ve been bitten. You may not notice you’ve been bitten until the bite marks appear on your body. 

Do bed bugs spread disease?

No, bed bugs don’t spread disease, and you can not spread the bite rash you get to others.
