How often should you wash your sheets?

How often should you wash your sheets?

Honestly, very few things beat the feeling of getting into bed knowing everything around you is clean. The smell of a candle burning the crisp of the clean new sheets brushing up against your skin, whilst you slowly doze into a deep sleep, is unbeatable.

Saying that how often should you wash your sheets?

Well, there is sort of a right answer but at the same time there really isn’t, ideally you should be washing your sheets once a week, but in some circumstances, they would need to be washed more and in others not so much.

I know for some people it may be hard to physically take off your sheets, put on new ones, put the dirty sheets in the wash, then get them out, out them in the dryer or to hang them and let them air dry and then fold them and put them away to repeat that every week may be too tasking for some. So, it's okay to wash them once every two weeks or when you feel like it as long as you don’t get in to bed dirty, don’t eat on it ect.

If you are someone who works out before bedtime and often you happen to be far too tired and end up falling asleep in bed then at times like this ideally you would want to change your sheet more because, of the build-up of sweat and dirt that you are putting on your clean sheet more often. Also, if you are someone who gets into bed with your outside cloths/shoes, or if you are someone who eats in bed ect then you ideally would want to keep your sheets often. However, if you are someone who is on the cleaner side, someone who showers before getting into bed, and you get into bed with clean clothes and only use your bed for things that you bed was intended for then I suppose you could change your once every two weeks, but all in all in it is your choice when want to change your bedsheets don’t feel pressured to do it more often if that’s not something that you can do right now just because, a blog recommends you too.
