Space -The twin mattress will use a lot less floor space than large bed frames and mattresses would. They are also ideal for small bedrooms that most young children and toddlers probably have.

Cost-effective - The twin bed is very inexpensive and a lot cheaper than any of the other larger bed sizes. It will also save you money in the future as the child won’t outgrow the twin bed until they reach their late teenage years.

Additional comfort - Twin beds will have a lot more room for toddlers and young children than a specially designed toddler bed would have. This additional room will allow the children a lot more room to move around and grow as well as provide a space for parents and caregivers to sit whilst putting their children to bed.

Negatives:

No rails - Twin beds have no rails whereas specially made toddler beds would come with rails to prevent toddlers from falling off the bed whisky they are asleep.

Price - Moving a toddler or young child from their crib or toddler bed into a twin bed will cost a lot more than just keeping the child in a toddler bed
