When it comes to interior design and its trends, what’s in and what’s out is constantly changing as people find new ways to jazz up their home that they fall in love with. And yet, have you ever considered what some of the more weider designs and ideas (and fails) have been throughout history? Well, we've come across some of the more wild side of interior decorations and pieces and just had to share them with you. Now, there's nothing wrong with uniqueness and feel free to be inspired by some of the stuff we’re going to cover today. So, without further ado, let’s get into it!
Style number 1: Goth and it’s revival
Now, goth styles are definitely not mainstream and that's probably for a good reason. To really immerse yourself in this style you might want to invest in a spiral staircase, old fashioned fireplace as well as a more drab and dark atmosphere through dark paint. This can lead to a house which feels cold, depressing and unfriendly. No wonder goth interior design has never really taken off.
Style number number 2: anti design/radical design
I suppose the clue is in the name as to why this style cannot be seen in many homes across the globe. A mix of colour, geometry and nature, this design style can leave a viewer feeling bewildered (and queasy). Not for the faint hearted.
