Which bed frame is closest to the ground?

A platform bed is the bed frame that is closest to the ground. These bed frames generally are always closest to the ground and come with a sturdy or slatted surface.  Platform beds do not need a box spring or any other base layer except if you would like the additional height, they add to the bed frame.
