No, you cannot fit a queen-sized mattress into a full bed frame. This is because a queen mattress is bigger than a full bed frame or using a few different terms a twin bed frame or single frame may make it easier to understand. Since a full bed frame is one of the smallest frames it is best to get a full-sized mattress to fit the frame. For the queen-sized mattress, it is best to get a queen bed frame to fit the queen-sized mattress. You can put a queen-sized mattress into a king size bed frame, but the issue there is that it makes the queen-sized mattress move about since the king size bed frame is bigger than the queen mattress so the queen mattress will be given a couple of inches to move about on either size. As a result of this it will end up effecting your quality of sleep and may soon affect your health if that the mattress does not perfectly fit the bed frame it was intended for.
Yes, you can use a queen bed frame for a twin mattress. But as before it would have the same issue as issue as using a king bed frame for a queen mattress. The mattress would have a couple of inches on both sides to move about affecting your sleep quality and potentially your health. Also, since it is a twin sized mattress going into a queen bed frame the mattress will have a couple of inches to move about up and down while you sleep as well.
With a metal bed frame, it can be built or adjusted to fit nearly all mattress sizes. Even is it cannot be adjusted to the size you need or want you can potentially get it custom made to fit the bigger size mattress like Caesar or emperor for instance. But if you need to adjust it on the fly and you have no one to help you adjust the frame, don’t worry because most basic metal frames have wheels on them to make sure that they are easy to adjust.
